Always a pretty princess

Who said that you can't wear a tutu everyday? Evelyn had a great time ice skating. Her feet moved a million miles a minute but she never really got anywhere. Our backs were so sore from holding her up while she "skated" but luckily Uncle Jesse was there to help in the rotation too.

Our first time ice skating

We had a great time ice skating. Every year Grandma Liz and Grandpa Denny send us some play money for Christmas and this year we really had a blast.

Morgan fell quite a few times but she was never afraid to get right back up and go some more. She owns a pair of roller blades and has never skated on the old school skates but she did pretty good for her first time on the ice. There were a few times that I thought Jesse would biff it but I think that he did pretty well too. Phil and Evelyn spent a lot of time together keeping each other up ;)

Light Saber

Yes she really wanted one! Her two requests from Santa were a pink motorcycle and a purple light saber. She got both and had a blast chasing Morgan around with it.

Morgan saying good-bye until next year to her elf Sassy. She was a lot

of fun to have around. Each morning after she returned from the North Pole she was not quite tired yet so she had a little fun around the house and left a mess for Morgan to clean in the morning. Sassy often played with the Barbies and wore their clothes. She drove around in Barbie's car and read them bedtime stories. On the final night that she was here she painted Phillip's toe nails Christmas red. We hope that she can come she us throughout the year but only if Morgan is a good girl would Santa let Sassy drop in for a visit.

Christmas Eve

We were dressed for Christmas Mass and I had to sneak in a few photos by the tree first. It was a really good Christmas Eve Mass, so good in fact Evelyn fell asleep in her dad's arms.

My girls making some Christmas cookies for Santa....mmmmmm
