A wonderful weekend on the ranch

We visited our friend's ranch this past weekend and had such a relaxing time...the girls enjoyed fishing with their Uncle Beanie and their dad. PP enjoyed helping skin a wild pig and we later enjoyed a nice pork roast. Beanie and Casey are visiting from overseas and it has been three years since we last saw them. They have been nice enough to give us a open invite to enjoy their ranch and home. I have a feeling that we will be eating a lot of pork over the winter. I don't have to worry about eating the fish because nobody has caught any yet except for Casey's dad...sure he did....I never saw them.

Morgan's Godmother. I know her dress and veil are amazing....I picked them out... really I did. Isn't she beautiful? Morgan was their flower girl at the wedding three short years ago.

The Other Woman

Phil and his other lady. What a spoiled brat? I know and what about poor me..oops I mean I love him sooooo much ;)

Crazy Catholic Dog

My Grandma's Dog is so weird. My Grandma is about as Catholic as they come, it has even rubbed off on her dogs!

What have I been up to?

Well that is a silly question...Life is not slowing down and I am not getting any younger. Why did life not move as fast in my youth when I had the energy and ambition to do it all?

The girls are ever involved in dance and while I am at the dance studio on average six and a half hours a week. Morgan in on the dance team and we are busy preparing for competitions. There are nine girls on this team and they are the sweetest little girls I have ever met.

I have a good friend that is keeping me ever busy finishing projects that I had not even begun to start in over three years. We have painted two murals in the house and hung lots of pictures. I am on the verge of redecorating Morgan's room and I will post pictures as that comes along.

These photos are of the Playroom that we decided to do in a Dr. Seuss theme. The Dr. Seuss mural is over 19ft long and 9ft high. The girls LOVE Dr. Seuss and there are such great morals to his stories and each scene on the wall was specifically chosen to help guide the girls. The photo on the left is of the crazy contraption that we had to build so that we could trace the mural on the wall. So the bottom is my kitchen table, then there is the coffee side table and then two 29 inch bar stools and then a toy basket and then the projector. Yikes!
